Today Sig Sauer announced a new update to their Master Works line of firearms with a new variation called Spectre. Two new handguns are being released as part of the new addition and these are the P365 XL Spectre and P320 XCompact Spectre. The new Spectre models have similar features including:
Sig Sauer has been expanding the P320 line with new AXG variants and Custom Works P320 pistols (Custom Works models have limited ordering periods and limited quantities) and recently announced the P320 AXG Pro Full Size. The AXG models differ from standard models in that they use an aluminum alloy grip module versus the polymer grips used on non AXG models.
The AXG Pro Full Size model features a custom lightened slide (window cuts on the front of the slide) and the slide is cut for an optic. This model supports Sig Sauer's Romeo1 Pro, Romeo2 and Leupold Delta Point Pro. It also has a separate dovetail for the rear sight so that you retain the sight when installing an optic.
Military Times posted this week about a new Sig P365 XL variant called the XLRX. We assumed Sig would release an XL with Romeo1 preinstalled and it looks like it is coming in the near future.
The P365 XL has the optics cut but for anyone that doesn't yet own the XL (but wants an optic) the pre-configured package will likely be cheaper.
