Don't Throw Guns in a Dumpster
A gun store in Oklahoma supposedly had over 200 guns with manufacturer defects. What exactly was wrong with all of them is unknown, but the dealer just threw them in the dumpster. A dealer can dispose of a gun, but it needs to be destroyed in such a manner that it can't repaired and fired again. This could be done by cutting the receiver in pieces with a saw or torch, essentially turning the remaining pieces into scrap and removing the serial number from their books.
It looks like there's a lot of good parts on these so it's really odd that a gun store would dispose of them in this manner. At a minimum there would be scrap metal value, let alone barrels, handguards, magazines, grips, etc. that could be reused. It's extremely unlikely that even the largest of firearm dealers could amass so many guns that couldn't be repaired. The whole situation is beyond strange.
FYI - We don't dispose of guns (especially like this) so if you ever decided to dumpster dive behind our warehouse you will just be swimming in packaging materials and scraps of our prior lunches. Although it would be funny to watch the security camera footage, please do not enter our dumpster in an attempt to get our leftover Chinese food.
