Osage County Guns will be closed July 4th for Independence Day and will reopen with normal hours Friday, July 5th at 10am. We hope you enjoy Independence Day with friends, family, and good food! Please be safe if you're at the range, out on the water, or lighting fireworks. Between Roman Candle, Bottlerocket, and M80 Salute wars as a kid I'm amazed I didn't end up in the hospital at some point. Luckily we came out unscathed beyond some small burn marks in our clothes.
Interesting Fact: The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission reports 8,500 people injured by fireworks went to the emergency room in the month around the Fourth of July in 2021. This is 74% of fireworks injuries for the entire year. Sparklers sent 1,100 kids to the hospital. Fifteen hundred people went to the ER because of injuries caused by firecrackers.
