Today Sig Sauer announced a new update to their Master Works line of firearms with a new variation called Spectre. Two new handguns are being released as part of the new addition and these are the P365 XL Spectre and P320 XCompact Spectre. The new Spectre models have similar features including:
- Spectre slide cut design
- Custom laser engraved grip module
- Distressed finish
- Optics ready cut slides (P365 XL is compatible with RomeoZero and P320 XCompact is compatible with Romeo1 Pro)
- Flat trigger
- X-Ray3 night sights
- Includes Custom Works challenge coin and letter of authenticity
Initially the Spectre pistols will be available in very limited quantities but we are told inventory will be more readily available in the following months.
It is quite important to note that the P320 is an X-Series Compact and has a 3.9 inch barrel. All the other X-Compact pistols released to date have a sub-compact length slide measuring at 3.6 inches. This might create some confusion for those wanting to run aftermarket / threaded barrels.
Here you will see an overlay of the X-Compact (3.6 inch barrel) vs the XCompact Spectre (3.9 inch barrel):
