If Sig is serious then maybe the realized that their strategy of additional revenue by only using Sig proprietary mags for their guns really held them back. If they are smart (like Ruger) and want widescale acceptance and market share then the better figure out way for it to accept Glock mags. Otherwise, their gun is a specialty item that is a one-off, competing with CZ Scorpion, Chris Vector, and ever other dedicated magazine platform.

I see your point about proprietary magazines but I also know that ARs that take Glock mags are known for reliability issues. If the magazine is part of that issue then a proprietary magazine may make good sense. I also know that a bolt hold open is much easier to engineer and make reliable with a true rifle style magazine rather than a pistol magazine. BTW, the Kriss Vector does take Glock magazines.

We actually installed multiple 2 ton cement blocks at the front just days after the incident... There are other measures that were taken in addition to this but they are not visible and we're not going to advertise them.
