Kimber Advertises CDP in Recent Magazines

Kimber has rolled out advertising in American Rifleman along with a number of other gun magazines this month targeting the CDP II (Custom Defense Package). This series of 1911's are all assembled in Kimber's Custom Shop and some great features for the price. Below is Kimber's description of the CDP line:

CDP pistols are powerful, accurate and absolutely dependable. Built in the Kimber Custom Shop, they feature night sights and 30 lines-per-inch checkering on the frontstrap and under the trigger guard for a positive grip. Slides are machined from stainless steel and aluminum frames wear KimPro II, a premium finish that is self-lubricating and extremely resistant to the elements. The Kimber CDP II line is available in 3 barrel lengths:

• The Ultra CDP II features a 3" barrel and compact grip
• The Compact CDP II features a 4" barrel and compact grip
• The Pro CDP II featues a 4" barrel and full size grip
• The Custom CDP II featuers a 5" barrel and full size grip
