We finally started receiving the fullsize MCX Spear rifles chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 Win) based on the same rifle that the military is receiving in .277 Fury. This was preceeded by the launch of the commercial Spear LT rifles chambered in 5.56mm NATO, .300 Blackout and 7.62x39mm. While both 5.56mm and .300 BLK were offered on the prior generations of the MCX we haven't had a SIG rifle chambered in 7.62x39 since the SIG 556R which was fairly short lived. With the launch of these new MCX Spear LT rifles comes the long awaited Spear LT Upper Receiver kits and we should start to receive the first kits fairly soon.

We have all of these on order. The first to ship will be 16" 5.56mm NATO, 16" 7.62x39mm, and 11" 7.62x39mm kits with the other two likely following a couple months later. These receivers will all come finished in black and should have the AR lower receiver adapters just like the prior MCX upper kits. We've already seen complete MCX Spear LTs in black which are only available on the LE/MIL side. These kits will not include flip-up sights as seen on the above image. Iron sights are only included on the complete LE/MIL Spear LT rifles.
