Our store was robbed

Update 10/11/2022:
Our retail store has reopened! We're back to our previous business hours of Tuesday - Friday 10AM - 6PM, Saturday 9AM - 5PM and closed Sunday - Monday.

Update 9/20/2022:
We are working to complete repairs to the interior of the store. We are hoping to re-open in approximately two weeks (around 10/1/22) and we will post additional information here as we get closer.
The ATF is offering a $7,500 reward and we are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved in the robbery of our store. Tips should be reported to the ATF and additional information about the process is available on the ATF website.

Original post:
Brief update on the break in that occurred yesterday...
At 1:57 AM a crew of young criminals, likely out of St. Louis, drove a stolen Hyundai through the entrance of our retail store and caused significant damage. They managed to steal firerams and accessories and leave just before police arrived. We're working to make arrangements for repairs and reopen as soon as possible.
We want to give a big shoutout to everyone that assisted us in securing the building, cleaning up the damage and conducting a full inventory and damage assessment.
We also want to thank the many law enforcement agencies that responded. In total 9 different LE departments were on scene, excluding fire and ATF, within 30 minute of the break in.
A very big thanks to Wright City's police department. Officers arrived exactly 2 minutes and 45 seconds after the criminals breached our outer doors, missing the thieves by only 45 seconds.
That is incredibly fast once you consider that a 911 call has to be answered, routed, dispatched and then the officer has to travel from his current location to ours.
We are thankful none of our employees or law enforcement were injured in this incident but we are frustrated by the fact that criminals committed this horrible act and were able to get away. That is not the fault of Wright City PD!
We're working with law enforcement and ATF to try to provide as much evidence as we can including camera footage from dozens of cameras.

Retail reopening information
We do not have a definitive time frame for reopening our retail store but we're planning on making repairs as fast as possible. We hope to reopen within a few weeks but it could happen sooner. In the mean time our Internet operations will remain unaffected and within a few days we'll be able to have a setup for picking up online orders at the building and this includes firearms. We just have to get computers back up to be able to run background checks (the car took out all of our checkout computers and the power and networking wiring).
We will post additional updates here and on our website and we'll post some photos of the damage and possibly surveillance footage after we've discussed this with LE to ensure it won't impact their investigation.

When I got the e- mail I found it hard to believe then with the way our country is headed , I found it not so hard to believe. Osage Guns is a fantastic place to buy firearms, ammunition and accessories with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The staff is knowledgeable and always patient with all my questions. I hope you get up and running soon and I’ll be there when you re-open. The Wright City Police Department should be commended as well for their rapid response. I hope to see you all soon!

Gentlemen, Would it be possible to get a list of the stolen firearms? I work at a retail gun shop about 50 miles west of Chicago, and we are known for buying guns. If you could give me a list of firearms stolen, w/serial #'s, I can also circulate it to the other shops in the area. (The email listed is my personal account, not the overall shops. I'm the gunsmith ) Thank You !

That's awful! I'm glad y'all are okay and that no one was hurt. I hope they catch the miserable perps and that you have no hassle settling with your insurance carrier. I drive a truck to St. Louis 3x week from Atlanta so you'll be in my thoughts!

What is insane is if and when they are caught the demon rats will see how fast they can get them out of jail so they can steal some more. Crazy times we live in.

I live in Columbus, OH, but have purchased many firearms online from Osage County Guns, through their armed professionals program, and their customer service is great. Unfortunately this type of smash and grab with young criminals has seemingly become a trend. I wish that Osage County Guns is back up and running soon, good luck! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.10tv.com/amp/article/news/local/group-uses-stolen-hyundai-break-into-obetz-store-steal-guns/530-74e02e4e-327f-48b2-b19b-ebbecbcfe5c1 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.10tv.com/amp/article/news/crime-tracker/police-teens-used-stolen-kias-break-into-obetz-store-steal-guns/530-c113d079-03db-4342-bdc8-e5c51d9f8b63

This exact same method was used at Sharp's guns in Franklin County many years ago. ATF was successful in recovering some of the items. They were found in St. Louis City. The Franklin County robbery was also done by young individuals. May be a direction to look in...

This is what you get in a screwed up society that want to de fund the police! These bastards have no morals and are willing to destroy and kill people at the drop of the hat ! This is going to keep happening with the idiot that we have running and destroying our country!

My local store that is family run had the same thing happen. Only way to stop this is concrete bollards around all the walls and entrance. First attack on the store was the front door. Truck through the front door. Second attempt was through a brick wall. Now the store is surrounded by concrete bollards.

Hello from Saint Louis I hope they did not get the Thompson sub machine gun. I visited your store several years ago during deer season. Keep moving forward. And just seeing an iconic firearm like that was really cool. Good luck on finding the jerks Kev from Saint Louis

Meanwhile DAs and judges continue to grant bail/bond at ridiculously low amounts. My guess is that when these miscreants get caught, and they will, this will be just another entry on their, most likely, lengthy criminal histories. Isn't Cory Bush's district the St. Louis area? I rest my case.

Just a slight correction..your store was NOT ROBBED. The store was BURGLARIZED. Robbery involves force, weapons, threatened use of weapons etc. I hope you and the ATF do apprehend the perpetrators. (retired cop here)

Check out the YouTube video embedded up above on this page. Footage from multiple cameras shows the whole thing in action. Sickening to watch but brilliant on Osage to share it online.

I’m just shocked at seeing and hearing about what happened there and sorry you all have to deal with the mess that was left behind. I got my favorite handgun from Osage County Guns and everyone was so great to work with when I ordered. It is so disheartening to see what business owners and our police are dealing with now! Thankfully none of your staff were injured in this incident. I hope the police are able to catch those criminals because they’re just gonna do it again to someone else or come back once you get things re-supplied and back in order. I’ll continue to give you my business and support Osage and share this with others. Thank you for your updates!

So sorry to hear that happened to you guys. Hope you guys are able to get back up and running quickly and that they catch those SOBs who robbed you guys. I can’t believe they were in and out so quickly. I’m sure they must have scoped the place out before if they were in and out so quickly. Be sure to review footage of the previous few weeks.

All we can hope for is swift and thorough justice which is asking a lot anymore. I know families with kids that have resorted to this sort of behavior in their teens and it's beyond disappointing. I feel for the families with kids that are out of control like this. They have no shame and no moral compass. What a miserable way to go about life, which will probably be a short one that's wasted. Godspeed to Osage and hoping everything is back to normal (as much as it can be) for you all soon enough. I'm glad none of you were hurt in the process. My personal premises were burglarized years ago and had some firearms stolen from me and have yet to hear anything about recovery, etc. so I do not hold out any hope. This definitely brings back some unpleasant feelings watching the footage. I haven't been a patron for some time with other matters in life prioritizing where my funds go but have made a number of purchases from you guys in the past and was always pleased with the service. Best of luck in the days ahead!

They should be able to get those people. I am guessing that even though the cars are likely stolen. They will probably find them. And I would be very surprised if they were unable to lift some good DNA from them. All that breaking of glass you know some of those guys are bleeding. Additionally, I am guessing that some or all of these guys have been arrested before. Do they not take a DNA sample from felons now? Kind of reminds me of the ding dongs that drilled out the coke machines at the mountain store for maybe a hundred bucks tops a couple of years ago. They covered up everything but their license plate which as it turned out was not a stolen car. All serving long terms at the State prison farm.

Sorry to hear about the burglary. I will be supporting you again when I can. Sounds like your local police are awesome. Don't count on the feds...they are tied up with orange man bad and school board investigations. Federal "law enforcement" is more corrupt than the Mexican cartels.

That really sucks. Same thing happened 20 miles from where we live. Trust me when I say, they will be back. Install thr bollards like everyone is telling you, before reopening. These criminals are not scared, and why should they be? The messaging has been that they are the victims.
