The 2019 SHOT Show is almost upon us and we’re a little late this year with our details on Sig Sauer’s 2019 additions. We’re playing catch up after our relocation and settling into our new building in Wright City, MO.
Classic Line Updates
Starting with the classic line, the P229 Legion SAO was added to Sig’s catalog. There are two variants with differing magazine capacity:
E29R-9-LEGION-SAO – 15rd variant
229R-9-LEGION-SAO – 10rd variant for restrictive states (that think limiting magazine capacity actually stops criminals from committing murder)
We’ve got both of these Legion pistols in stock already and listed on our online store with detailed in-house photos.
Sadly, the P229 is the only model in the classic line that saw new releases.
Sig Sauer just released a new MPX variant called the Copperhead!
From Sig’s press release:
“The MPX Copperhead considerably reduces the length, width, and size of the MPX platform making it the most compact addition to the MPX family of firearms,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. “The Copperhead is the perfect combination of the features and performance our consumers expect from a SIG MPX in a compact package.” Continue reading
We’ve got some exciting news to share! Osage County Guns is going to be moving to a new location at the end of 2018!
We started searching for land suitable to build a new building a few years ago and settled on our new home in Wright City, Missouri last year. Construction started this spring and we’re nearing completion! The new facility will be much larger than our current location and we will be much closer to St. Louis.
Modified Operating Hours During December 2018
Because we’re moving the entire company, we will be modifying our operating hours during the month of December. Our retail store is going to be closed during the month of December but our Internet operations will remain active through 12-24-18. From 12-24-2018 to 1-2-2019 we will still accept online orders but they will not be shipped until the first week of 2019. We will resume normal phone and email support starting 1-2-2019. During the last week in December while we are moving, we’ll have very limited phone support and delayed email support.
New Retail Store
Our new retail store will still remain under construction through the winter and we anticipate opening our 6,000 square foot retail store in late March of 2019. Our new facility will be located on the frontage road to Interstate 70 in Wright City, Missouri and will offer visibility and easy access from I70.
We will post additional information here as we have updates.
We’ve received the first of Kimber’s new Micro9 ESV pistols and took some photos in our photo booth. This is the gray version but there will be a black version with gold barrel as well. Part number: 3300204. Continue reading

Kimber released their 2019 lineup and additions yesterday right at the end of the day. We put our immediate focus on their new striker pistol called the EVO SP.
Aside from the EVO SP, Kimber released a variety of other additions to their existing lines and we’re digging into the details on those now.
On the K6s line, Kimber released a DA/SA variation. This is something we asked about when Kimber initially released the K6s line.
Like prior K6s models, the DA/SA is chambered in .357 Mag and also fires .38 Special. Shipments are scheduled to begin mid December 2018 Continue reading

Back in May we mentioned that Sig was going to be releasing the P938 and P238 in Legion flavors. Today they started taking dealer orders on both models and they’ve released product sheets on them.
The features of the two new Legions were pretty predictable. They’re very much like the SAS versions but with all the Legion treatment including magazine wells (which neither the P238 or P938 have featured in the past). Continue reading
Sig has started shipping a small quantity of P320 M17 pistols (commercial variant with manual safety) to their reps and we were able to get our hands on one for some photos and video. We’ll post the video next week once we finish editing but today we’ve got a pretty extensive set of photos to share.
We tried to provide some comparisons between the standard M17 and a P320 FDE to show the color differences. The part number of this M17 is 320F-9-M17. You can see pricing and sign up for stock notification on our M17 product page.
Feel free to post any questions and we’ll do our best to provide answers.
