Sig P938 Stand
938-stand-right Sig Sauer just released a new P938, the P938 Stand Details from Sig:
STAND AND SUPPORT: Introducing the special edition P938 STAND. Show your unwavering support for the flag and for America’s National Anthem with this special commemorative edition. With its stars and stripes engraved slide and custom grips with embedded flag medallion, you’ll proudly share in our support for America’s troops and first responders. AVAILABLE FOR SHIPMENT MID-JANUARY With the P938, SIG SAUER offers the ballistic advantage of the 9mm cartridge in a platform similar in size to the best-selling P238 pistol. A single-action-only trigger, coupled with full-size SIGLITE Night Sights makes the P938 handle like a much larger pistol, yet is still easy to carry concealed. With dimensions just slightly larger than its .380ACP counterpart, the P938 packs seven plus one rounds of 9mm into an all-metal frame and a polished and engraved stainless steel slide. The single-action trigger gives the P938 unmatched accuracy in a pistol its size. Fans of the 1911 will find the thumb safety, magazine release and slide stop lever in familiar places. An ambidextrous safety makes the P938 easy for left- and right-handed shooters.

According to 4 U.S.C. ss 3 and 8, this is actually disrespectful to the flag. What is wrong with SIG? I'm a veteran and former FLEO, and find this abhorrent. Combined with the P320 issues (mine went back for the recall and they milled into some factory slide lightening cuts with the end result being the slide has to go 98% to the rear for the trigger to reset) and having to send my MPX in because when I went to unscrew the bbl, the D nuts turned and stripped the upper receiver, I think I'm done with SIG. Between bad engineering and a marketing team that doesn't bother with basic research, it's become pretty clear that their products are not worth the premium and that they are racing to the bottom.
