Sig Sauer just announced a host of new firearms and optics today. Sometimes manufacturers have new products and it's not all that exciting. Luckily SIG is keeping things spicy with some really interesting and creative guns this time around. Like most, the firearm industry was hit hard during the pandemic/plague with various materials and part shortages causing massive production issues. Manufacturers significantly trimmed down their offerings to simplify the manufacturing process and Sig Sauer was no exception. In the last year we've really started to see more variety and options, but this batch of releases certainly seems the most exciting!
Here's what we can soon look forward to receiving:
P226 X-Five Reserve
Part Number: 226X5-9-CW-RES
The P226 XFive Reserve is the latest high end P226 release from Sig. It has a high polished DLC (diamond like coating) slide with integrated comp, DLC high polish steel frame, black alloy LOK grips, AX3 flat adjustable trigger, suppressor height sights and it ships with three 20 round magazines.

P320 Flux Legion
Part Number: 320FLUX-9-LEGION
Sig Sauer partnered with FLUX Defense and their first joint release is the P320-FLUX Legion. This model has a fast deployment brace, 30rd mag capacity, integrated compensator (in the slide), mag holder in the forward grip section, front and rear picatinny rails and ambi-safety. It ships with two 30-round magazines.

Sig Sauer P320 SXG
Part number 320SXG5-9-STAS
Sig has finally brought a stainless steel grip module to the P320 line. This new model weighs in at 49.5oz! The SXG has a bead blasted finish, G10 grips, full length dust cover on the grip module (the grip module weights 24.3oz), fiber optic front sight and removable adjustable rear sight plate. It is optic ready and takes the Romeo1 Pro optic or those with the same footprint. Like the P226 Reserve, the grips are from LOK (Is Sig still working with Hogue?) and these are G10.

P320 Fuse Romeo-X
Part Number: 320XF-9-FBO-RXX
P320 Fuse
Part Number: 320XF-9-FBO
P226 40th Anniversary Edition
Part Number: E26-9-40Y
This is one of the cooler new releases in our opinion. This is a throwback to early days of the Sig line before everything was polymer! Unfortunately it won't have a carbon steel slide but it does still closely resemble the older p226 pistols. There is no rail on the frame and it ships in a retro box and includes a replica Classic user manual. The 40th Anniversay P226 ships with contrast sights and has a 15rd magazine capacity (it ships with two mags). The grips are retro Hogue alloy grips so it seems Sig is still sourcing grips from Hogue. Interestingly, the spec sheet we received shows the frame as being stainless steel but it is alloy. One of our employees is at Sig's NEXT event and reports that it has a SRT trigger but that isn't mentioned in the spec. Also, we do feel these should have shipped with the original polymer grips to be more similar to the old school P226.
