The Raptor ambidextrous charging handle aims to alleviate some of the problems with Mil-Spec charging handles. One of the shortcomings of the standard AR15 is the charging handle design. It is small and difficult to quickly grab to charge the weapon. The latch unlock mechanism is only located on the left side and is designed to be unlocked with two fingers. With large, textured unlocking latches on either side of the charging handle, you can quickly charge your AR15 from either side of the gun.
