Leupold part 180627 is the VX-3HD 3.5-10x40 riflescope with a 30 mm maintube, CDS-ZL elevation, and an illuminated FireDot Twilight Hunter reticle in the second focal plane. It is built around Leupold's Elite Optical System for dawn-to-dusk transmission and glare control on a hunting rifle.

The FireDot Twilight Hunter uses fine crosshairs plus a daylight-bright center FireDot. Illumination is push-button; Leupold lists Motion Sensor Technology that shuts the dot down after inactivity and wakes it on movement. Battery is a CR2032. Elevation is a low-profile one-revolution CDS-ZL ZeroLock dial (push to unlock, return to lock). Clicks are 1/4 MOA; Leupold lists 75 MOA elevation (14.5 MOA travel limit on the CDS dial) and 60 MOA windage. A custom CDS dial can be ordered for a specific load; a BDC dial is not included in the box.

Weight is 15.8 ounces. Eye relief is 4.4 inches at 3.5x and 3.6 inches at 10x. Field of view is 29.0 / 11.0 feet at 100 yards. Parallax is fixed at 150 yards. An integrated throw lever is part of the VX-3HD package. Waterproof and fogproof per Leupold.
