All the critical fire-control parts pre-assembled in the sear box. It’s a relatively simple matter to replace this assembly in a FCU. The alternative is futzing with the tiny sear springs and small parts alignment that is necessary otherwise. Slave pins enable working on the replaced sear box outside the pistol. Too bad this assembly is so hard to find.

The SIG P320 sear housing assembly is a great way to finish a P320 FCU. All the parts of the sear group are already assembled in the sear housing, although technically the trigger bar disconnector sits in a slot on the outside of the sear housing. It is held in place in the packaging with a wire twisty that is removed prior to inserting the sear assembly in the FCU frame. The internal sear group components are held in the sear housing with dummy pins which are subsequently pushed out by inserting the functional pins after the sear housing has been inserted in the FCU frame.
