Why a Gold Dot

The gold reticle runs at 590nm rather than the 650nm of a conventional red dot. Many shooters find that wavelength easier to resolve against certain backgrounds and with certain forms of color-vision deficiency — and it simply looks different in the window, which matters to people who have spent years behind red. Optically and mechanically the gold model is otherwise identical to its red counterpart: same 2 MOA dot, same window, same battery, same adjustments.

Enclosed and Sealed

The housing is aluminum with an MAO finish in black, rated IP67 waterproof and tested to 1000G vibration. Working temperature runs -30°C to 60°C, with storage from -40°C to 70°C.

Power and Brightness

A single CR2032 in a side tray — changeable without unmounting the optic — delivers up to 50,000 hours. Brightness runs 10 daylight settings plus 2 night-vision settings. Shake Awake wakes the optic on movement and shuts it down when it sits still, and the sight remembers your last brightness setting.

Mounting
