S&W Bodyguard 2.0 TS with Viridian RFX1 – .380 ACP, Optic Installed (14785)

A 12-ounce pocket .380 that comes with a green dot already on it. That's the pitch, and it solves a real problem: micro pistols are the hardest guns to shoot well with irons, and they're also the hardest to mount an optic on. Smith & Wesson's answer is the Viridian RFX1, factory installed — no optic-ready slide required and no permanent modification. Add a tritium front sight, a flat-face trigger, a reversible ambidextrous magazine release, and both a 10-round and a 12-round magazine in the box. This is the thumb safety version. S&W SKU 14785, UPC 022188905397.

The Optic Is the Point

The Viridian RFX1 puts a 3 MOA green dot on a gun that weighs less than a pound. Green is the wavelength the human eye perceives most brightly, so the dot reads sharper and more vivid than red at the same output — which matters most on a pistol you'll shoot at speed. It ships installed from the factory.

Twelve Rounds of .380 in a Pocket Gun

Both magazines ship in the box: a 10-round and a 12-round. Carry the 10 flush for maximum concealment, or run the 12 for capacity and a full firing grip. Twelve-plus-one in a 12-ounce .380 is a genuinely modern capacity for this size class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the optic come installed?
Yes. S&W ships it with the Viridian RFX1 installed from the factory.

Is the dot red or green?
Green — a 3 MOA green dot.

Is this an optics-ready pistol?
Not in the usual sense. S&W states the RFX1 mounts without requiring an optic-ready slide or permanent modification. The RFX1 is purpose-built for this pistol. If you want to run a different optic later, contact us first.

How many magazines come with it?
Two — one 10-round and one 12-round.

What's the difference between this and SKU 14786?
Only the safety. This one has a frame-mounted thumb safety; 14786 does not. Everything else is identical.
