The 911 Design

As designed by Springfield Armory, the 911 in 9mm uses a 3-inch barrel, a 7075 T6 aluminum frame and a 416 stainless steel slide. It keeps the single-action trigger and oversized ambidextrous thumb safety that 1911 shooters know, in a pistol small enough for pocket or appendix carry. Factory 9mm guns were supplied with a 6-round flush and 7-round extended magazine; the magazines included with this used example are as pictured.
