The P365 redefined what a concealed-carry pistol should be, now the new P365 XL is doing it again. The perfect balance of micro-compact concealability with full-size shootability the P365 XL packs 12 + 1 or available 15 + 1 capacity in a micro-compact, highly concealable size yet maintains the comfort and shootability of a full-size pistol. The first P365 offered in the XSeries family, the XL comes standard with an extended slide, 3.7” barrel, and the brand new 365 XSeries grip module with extended beavertail and integrated magwell.  The new slide and grip module only add about 1/2" to the overall length and height of the micro-compact P365, while increasing the capacity to 12+1 rounds of 9mm.  It still maintains the crisp, clean P365 trigger pull, but with the “X” signature flat profile trigger that breaks at 90 degrees.  Never has so much versatility and capability been squeezed into such a perfectly concealable size.

This model features the Romeo Zero 3MOA pre-installed.

I bought 3 Sig 365 pistols in just a couple of days. First, I bought a 365 and a 365XL, and then this one, the 365XLRZ, became available. I intended to shoot them all and keep just one - whichever one I found I liked the best for EDC. Unfortunately for me, I just put several hundred rounds through each a few days ago, and found I like them all. The 365 did give me just a little trigger bite, which I did not experience with the flat-triggered XLs. But all ran superbly, with no failures of any kind, eating both FMJs and defensive rounds flawlessly.

As others have noted, the mags have very stiff springs. But I used an upLULA for loading, and had no issues other than having to press REALLY hard to get the last round loaded. (More than once, I thought maybe I had lost count, and pulled the mag from the upLULA to see if it was fully loaded.) And actuating the on/off for the RZ is a bit of an affair as well. It's a very small button which requires a 2-second press. It is placed very close to the glass and under the top of the frame, and doesn't seem to have any tactile feedback. You have to place your finger a bit carefully to avoid touching the glass (well, plastic) and then you need to visually confirm if you actually turned it off or on. Those annoyances are why I gave only 4 stars for quality.

Once my Holosun 507k RD arrives (I likely won't see it for many, many months), the 365 will be sent to have the slide milled. It will be my EDC, replacing a Bodyguard .380 with integrated CT laser. I will see how well the 365 pocket carries once I get the Holosun mounted, but I suspect it will likely be a bit bulky and the RD will likely make it a more difficult draw from a pocket. If so, I will keep the Bodyguard for that purpose. I already know it is a very comfy pocket carry, and it draws well.

I really enjoyed shooting the XLs, and the RZ version will likely be my EDC until the Holosun arrives and is mounted on the 365. But I am slight of build, and have difficulty finding a reasonably comfortable carry position for almost any gun. Smaller frame guns definitely help with that, so I am pretty sure the 365 will take the EDC role once it is ready.

The no-optic XL is the tough one. I bought it just days before the RZ was available, thinking I'd put an RD on it later. So it is now "extra". It will probably go to one of my 4 adult boys - I've already been asked! <smiling>

In short, the 365s ALL shoot well and all handled various ammo without incident. The flat-triggered, XL models are comfortable and fun to shoot, and the 365 wasn't bad either - just a bit of trigger bite, and I suspect I can learn to adjust my grip a bit and resolve that. The tiny button on the RZ is a bit of a pain, but otherwise worked well. One of my sons and I both shot groups with it left of center - but they were pretty tight groups (for us), and of course the sight is adjustable. We will do that next range trip - once I find more ammo!

Overall, I highly recommend the XLRZ. I currently have 15 pistols, and it is near the top of the list as a fun to shoot gun (with a Browning Hi-power & a Ruger Security Six .357 as the top two). It shoots accurately and runs flawlessly, the RD gives you the ability to get on target more quickly than just with iron sights, and I should mention how nice the sight picture is with the sights. They co-witness with the RD, although you do lose the original back sights and they are replaced by a less than stellar, plastic back sight which is integrated with the RD.

I had been tracking this item across several websites. Came to OCG's website directly from Sig's and saw the p365xl in stock. Went ahead and ordered it. I sent my FFL Osage's info to complete the order. That same day Osage prepared the UPS label and my purchase was ready to ship the next morning. I received email updates all throughout. My FFL received the package in just a couple of days. Excellent purchase experience. Will recommend to my friends. Will likely buy again from OCG. Thanks. Review by Ruben (Posted on 9/7/2020)

I wanna thank Osage for a smooth and fast transaction there lead time said about two weeks I had my firearm in two days.
They were the first to have the sig p365xl back in stock , mind you I was listed in over 7 websites for back in stock notification.

As for the gun I have not shot it yet but from the feel and size you can tell sig hit a home run with this bad boy. I was between this and the spring field hellcat but honestly I did not like the trigger on the hellcat.
The Remo red dot is so small I was surprised when I first saw it .
This is going to be my EDC .

I now have 400+ rounds of 6 different ammo brands and weights, both FMJ and JHP, downrange from this gun. Not one single hiccup. I already had 3 P365s of various types (original, NRA, SAS). This gun has now effectively retired them all. The Romeo Zero is a great piece of kit too! I like it better than the DPP I have on an X-Compact (probably because I opted for the 7.5 triangle DPP), and MUCH better than the R1 on my P229 Legion RX - the Zero is much brighter! The price here is also currently about the best you’ll find outside of LE/Mil prices, where I’ve yet to find one (and am eligible). Well worth paying a bit more to get sooner. Shipping was great too - ordered Thursday afternoon after in-stock alert, received following Monday by LGS around noon. Buy one - you won’t regret it (unless you’re emotionally attached to your regular P365s)! Review by WDB (Posted on 3/11/2020)
