This kit consists of everything you need to convert your P365 or P365XL to manual safety minus the grip. You can either purchase a grip by itself or notch your existing grip.

Installing the manual safety kit

If you have an issue after installation where the safety lever will not rotate, it may be that the detent pin needs to be rotated 90 degrees (inside the channel it sits in on the lever). The tip of the detent pin has a contour where it has flats and the flat sides need to ride against the contour of the frame. If it is turned 90 degrees opposite, the sharper end will prevent proper rotation of the safety lever. We will attempt to post some photos in the near future to better illustrate this.

Ordered the 365 safety and the jig for frame modification immediately upon receiving the "back in stock" notification. In a few days they were in my mailbox. The frame modification was easy and fast with the jig. Installation of the safety was fast and straight forward with no surprises. The safety engagement/disengagement is very positive, requiring conscious effort to operate.
As an appendix carrier, I wanted an extra layer of safety. When I re-holster the gun, the safety is on. Once in the holster I disengage the safety. Best of both worlds! Safer going into the holster, without having to disengage the safety on the draw. Review by Ray (Posted on 10/31/2020)

I wanted to add a manual safety to my P365 so I picked up this kit when it was finally back in stock (at least for the moment!). I also bought a jig to help me through the notching process of the group body. I found an Osage County video on YouTube that walked me through the installation process. I installed the safety onto the trigger group before notching the gun so I could do test fits as I was Dremmeling out the notches. I'm no gunsmith by any stretch but this was super easy to do! Made a great feeling of security having a safety. When installing remember to have take down latch in up ward position. I had to remove a small amount of the base of the detent pin to get it to fit. I'm relatively new to Osage, but I'm so in love with the way the do business. I can't find this safety kit anywhere either out of stock or without paying literally twice the price!
Osage not only had reasonably priced but shipped it quick, i received in a day or 2. Already installed it myself after making tiny modifications to my frame. Drop-in installation took about 2 minutes. I ordered a 12rd mag with this order, I will be ordering a 15rd mag AND a True Precision threaded barrel from Osage as well!! Many ND seem to be happening when a pistol is being holstered on the body in an in the waist band holster so I installed a manual safety on my P365 for use when holstering. After the pistol is holstered I switch the safety off. The kit only took about 20 min. to install and I feel it was a good value cutting the notch in the frame was the hardest part of the install. Been waiting on this for a while as they were out of stock...and after almost 30 years with SIG DA/SA weapons (220, 226, 239) the striker fired weapon alone not to mention some of the setbacks with misfires in P320 and concerns on P365 made me want the manual safety...had them for 21 years in military so having one on the P365 was of no concern to me... Parts appear very well made....video on installation was clear and concise. The only issue I had was the grip module was wanting to go over the lever on left side. Figured out I needed to slide over a part that was protruding just enough to spread out the top lip of grip module on FCU...not sure of part name but once I realized what it was doing and how to get it to release so it would no longer protrude...all was good. I had cleared weapon and dry fired it prior to disassembly...so this may have been the cause of my initial issues...but nonetheless, it was of no consequence and it works perfectly and was a very simple installation.
