This is a brand new Spikes Tactical 9mm AR-15 upper receiver. The upper receiver is a flat top and machined from a Mil-Spec 7075 T6 forging with a durable Type III Hardcoat Anodized finish. The ejection port cover/dust cover and shell deflector also specific to the 9mm receiver. Since the receiver is based on the standard 5.56mm upper receiver a 9mm magazine and adapter (not included) are also required.
Spikes Tactical has been focusing on 5.56mm uppers and just discontinued these receivers. This was disappointing news considering the quality and value for the money these receivers offer.
